The true story of a man who rescued 669 predominantly Jewish children from the Nazis in the months leading up to World War II will be screened at Cinema In The Langtons.

Anthony Hopkins stars in the story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton who realised it was a race against time, in December 1938, to rescue desperate families living in Prague before the borders closed.

Fifty years later he comes to terms with the guilt of the children he wasn’t able to save when the BBC television show ‘That’s Life’ introduces him to some of the surviving children now adults.
